There are three types of partials, each one having its on pros and cons. The three types of partials that we typically recommend are cast metal partials, valplast (flexible) partials, or resin partials. A partial is made for a patient when they are missing some (or “part”) of their teeth. This is different from a full or complete denture, which is used when a person is missing every tooth in the arch.
